The Industrial Development Agency focuses on development of innovativeness of Polish enterprises by investing in sectors and technologies which will determine the competitiveness of the economy over the next few years. Evaluation and selection of industries results from both the internal potential of the Polish economy and from global economic trends.
The IDA supports projects embodying Polish engineering solutions and product innovations developed in Poland. Development of innovative companies in Poland should be based on increasing technological advancement of products and emergence of new technological and organisational solutions based on the enterprise’s own resources.
From the IDA’s perspective, important investments deal with innovative projects which can make a significant contribution both in terms of manufacturing and participation in chains of relationships between different sectors.
Information about innovative undertakings that the IDA is interested in can be found in particular in National Smart Specialisations (KIS) and in the report on Technological Foresight of Industry — InSight2030.
